DetailsMade to order cartoon pet portraits on wood slices ready to hang on your Christmas tree OR just anywhere you want to put it!
Wood slices vary by size (3-5 inches) and appearance as each is unique in its own way! Each ornament is hand-painted with love by a momma with a dream. Your ornament will be sealed with a semi glossy varnish to ensure a clear & long-lasting finish!
----------- Ordering Instructions ------------
♥ In the dropbox, choose the number of pets you want on your ornament
- Dogs will have a cute pink tongue sticking out and cats will have a tail matching the color of their body as you see in the photos above
- I can do just about any pet you can think of! If you're unsure, feel free to message me before purchasing to make sure I can do it!
♥ Under personalization, add your desired name that you want on your ornament
- Names can be the pet's name or other sayings. If you would like paw prints, please make that aware to me!
- The year will be on the back of the ornament unless otherwise asked to be put somewhere else. ***Year will now be 2021 unless you state that you would like a different year!***
♥ After ordering, send me a message through Etsy with a photo of your pet(s) and include any other details you may want!
- Sending the photo through Etsy messages is recommended, but feel free to send me an email (email is below) if you are having trouble attaching photos through Etsy messages. To attach to Etsy messages, simply press contact seller & press the camera icon to send me the photos!

♥ You MUST send me your reference photo so I can create your ornament! If no photo is received within 7 days & after an attempt to get them from you, I will have to refund & cancel your order.
♥ I will match details (in a simple cartoon form) as I can to the reference photo that you send me! If you want to make any changes to the photos, please let me know in your message to me! Any distinct features on animals that you definitely want to be included, please make that aware to me in your message as well. Any other details you would like, just let me know & I will make it happen!
- Please note that a good quality *unfiltered* photo is needed to make sure I get the most accurate colors and skin tones. If anything is different about the photo that you send me (like if the lighting of the photo makes a pet's fur appear to be brown when it's actually black) please let me know in your message to me. I go directly off of the reference photos that are sent to me, so if anything is different than how it looks, I would need to know!
- Please take note of my style of painting before ordering! They will NOT be realism portraits, but unique, fun and cute simple cartoon versions of your pets!
♥ Reference photos can be of all the pets together or separately, it doesn't matter!
♥ All the ornaments are HAND-PAINTED with acrylic paints, including all lettering. No stencils or Cricut materials are used.
♥ Since these ornaments are all hand-painted and made to order, my processing times get a bit lengthy the closer to the holidays. I take my time on all my ornaments to make sure I give you the best quality and representation of your family! Please double check processing times so that you know how long of a wait you will have before getting your ornament & consider purchasing early if you are wanting them for Christmas gifts or decorations!

Frequently Asked Questions
You seem to have longer processing times than other sellers on Etsy. Why?
Etsy is filled with amazing creators and makers but we are all so different! We know quick is what everyone wants, but some of our items are just too special to be able to have a super fast turnaround time. I personally paint each and every portrait, whether it is on wood or digitally and this takes time! During peak seasons, like the holidays, it takes even longer because our unique and one of a kind items are always in high demand and I can only do so many paintings in a day! A lot of Etsy sellers have a whole team behind them helping them to create their awesome creations, I just have me! Rest assured I am always working hard on orders and always try to ship early when possible!
Do you guarantee Christmas delivery?
Delivery dates are never guaranteed. Once your package is in the hands of USPS, I can't control how fast it gets to you. Because of this, always be aware that shipping delays may happen and give yourself extra time to receive your package, especially during the peak seasons!
Snow Globe Shipping Guidelines
Our custom minimalistic style portrait snow globes have been a big hit since adding them to the shop a couple of years ago! We have learned a lot about shipping things filled with water, so we have added some extra guidelines when it comes to shipping these snow globes!
*If temperatures are expected to get below freezing in our state in which we ship from (Indiana) we will NOT ship until the temperatures get ABOVE freezing, which is 32 degrees*
- If your snow globe order is due to ship during a time that is supposed to get below freezing, you will receive an update from us explaining and your ship by date will be extended.
- When purchasing, you automatically AGREE to these guidelines. No refunds or cancellations will be given.Why do you have guidelines for shipping snow globes?
Since our snow globes are filled with water and then shipped to your destination, when temperatures get below freezing the globes that are in transit may end up freezing causing the globe to naturally expand. Then when the globes are brought back to above freezing temps, they will de-ice and turn back into liquid, which may cause the globe to burst from the pressure and start leaking. The act of icing and de-icing can also cause dents in the globe. To help combat this issue, we've decided to not ship these globes when temperatures in our home city is expected to drop below freezing, to try to prevent any damage to the globe!

Shelby does absolutely amazing work! I got my own family ornament from her last year, and she made the distinct markings on my tuxedo cats perfectly! I also just ordered another ornament from her for this year of my in laws' two boxer dogs and again, she made their distinct markings identical to them in real life! You cannot go wrong with ordering from her shop. It is such a wonderful gift idea for your loved ones! :)
